Longhorns categorised as a 'breed at risk'

The DEFRA Native Breed At Risk register has been replaced by the Native Breed Support scheme, and Longhorn meet the criteria for inclusion on that list.

Longhorns are therefore still eligible for native breed support payments under the Environmental Land Management (ELM) schemes as they are classified as a breed 'at risk'.
