Mid West Breeders' herd competition results!
The Mid West Longhorn Breeders' Group held their awards lunch on Sunday 19 November.

Special mention must go to Peter Guest who was the first recipient of 'The Ashton Award', nominated by herd competition judge Bernard Stamp. This is a new award which is a model of a Longhorn bull, commissioned and produced by David Hitchings of the Ashton herd. It will be awarded at the judge's discretion to a person within the Club rather than one of the animals. David has generously had enough models made to provide one to each regional group, to be awarded in the same manner each year.
