National Show 2025 results

We had a fantastic turnout of Longhorn cattle for the Society's National Show at the Great Yorkshire Show.

All the classes were full of quality from top to bottom and our judge George Young had his work cut out selecting his champion and reserve.

Breed Champion for 2025 was Southfield Viper, a four year old bull from David and Angela Blockley, Drighlington.

In reserve was 2022 born first calver Briar Mead Walnut Whip from Vicki Hopkinson, Northallerton. This cow took breed and reserve native interbreed honours at Lincolnshire Show so she's having quite a year!

After the judging members gathered for lunch and the prize giving, and then in the evening we met for a barbeque of Longhorn beef from Tori and Ben's farm.

A day of competition and friendship!
