A rule change for the Society
At the AGM on Saturday 14 October members of the Society voted to change one of the General Rules of the Society thus:
‘Disbudded cows, heifers or bulls are eligible to compete in show classes for breeding cattle. Only fully registered animals will be eligible to compete in show classes for breeding cattle. Disbudded cattle may be shown at Society sales.'
This rule change means that disbudded cattle are now allowed in the show ring and of course can be entered at Society sales.
