Herd dispersals and larger numbers of cattle from single herds
Stephen Horrocks is retiring and will reluctantly be dispersing his Gale Farm herd at the Carlisle Rare & Native breed sale on 19 September. Some cattle may be available to purchase in advance of the sale and he will be taking the show team to the shows this season, so any show cattle purchased will be available from 10 September (Westmorland Show)
The herd will consist of cows with calves at foot, in calf and maiden heifers. Stock bull is Wheatlands Xtrovert. All cattle quiet and halter trained.
Herd vaccinated annually for BVD and Bluetongue. 4 year TB area.
Blood tests taken by vet last year confirmed whole herd negative for every major disease.

The Kincardine herd is reducing it's numbers and has the following cattle for sale:

The Blackbrook herd is offering a number of pedigree registered yearling heifers for sale;purchasers are invited to visit the herd to choose the cattle that would be most suited to their requirements.

Millichope Estate are selling five spring 2025 born heifers. The Estate is organic (Soil Association), Red Tractor Assured and the cattle are all grassfed.
The heifers are all birth notified and are eligible for full pedigree registration.
