    Pedigree & Commercial Show & Sale

    Location: East of England Showground, Peterborough

    The East of England Winter Stock Festival takes place on Friday 7 November 2008.
    Classes for pure and crossbred animals

    Society AGM Weekend

    Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
    The Society Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 15th November the Lord Hill Hotel, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, SY2 6AX and will be open to all Members of the Society.
     
    The AGM will be preceded by a visit to the Great Berwick Herd by kind invitation of Messrs JE Barker & Sons.
     
    On Sunday our host will be Susan Roberts of the Stockton Herd.

    English Winter Fair

    Location: Bingley Hall, Staffordshire County Showground, Staffs, ST18 OBD

    The Longhorn Cattle Society offer :

    £1000 to the Supreme Champion animal subject to it being a pure bred Longhorn.
    £500 to the Supreme Champion Animal subject to it being out of a Longhorn Dam.
    £50 for all animals forward in pure bred Longhorn class provided both their parents are registered with the Longhorn Cattle Society and the exhibitor is a member of the Longhorn Cattle Society.
    In the non-pedigree section, £25 for any first prize winner out of a purebred longhorn dam and £10 for all other entries forward, out of a Longhorn dam.
