Mid West Breeders' Group summer visit

The Mid West Breeders' Group summer visit was on Saturday 30 July at Pete Grabham's Watton Herd, Watton Farm, Halberton, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 7AN

Peter farms 30 pedigree Longhorn cows alongside his 250 head commercial herd and all finishing cattle are dehorned and fed on a home produced finishing ration before going to either a butchers shop or one of two farm shops he supplies.  A tour of the cattle and handling facilities was followed by a Devonshire cream tea, naturally!
