Joe Hallifield and his wife Susan run Standleys Barn Farm, which has been in the family for four generations, where they keep suckler cows and sheep. Their son Daniel keeps rare breed pigs and runs an on farm cutting room and butchery that sells meat to the public and also to Calke Abbey's Restaurant and shop and other local restaurants.
