Great British Beef Week, 23-30 April

17/03/2021

What are you doing for Great British Beef Week?

Great British Beef week is back again in 2021, from Friday 23 April to Friday 30 April 2021 and the Society would love to hear how you are promoting Longhorn beef.

Jilly Greed, who co-founded Ladies in Beef with NFU president Minette Batters, and who created Great British Beef Week said: "The food industry is constantly evolving, and this year we wanted to demonstrate how the beef sector is progressive and wanted to demonstrate its environmental sustainability credentials.  By doing this, our aim is to reassure consumers that by continuing to buy and enjoy beef, they are acting responsibly and sustainably."

Further information will be released in the weeks leading up to Great British Beef Week 2021, which is supported by the NFU and Red Tractor.  Look out for #GBBW2021 on social media and keep checking the GBBW page for updates.  For more delicious recipes, visit www.simplybeefandlamb.co.uk

Ladies in Beef have produced a leaflet to help shoppers understand beef labelling and know where their beef has come from.
