The Gentons Herd firmly believe in the benefit of mixing bloods from various bloodlines and has for the last 6 years acquired exceptional animals from a wide range of herds.
To continue on this path, the Gentons herd is looking for 'Best of Breed' older cows for flushing for embryos both to increase the genetic pool of the Gentons herd and for export.
This is an opportunity for Longhorn breeders to get a premium on slaughter prices and a way to extend the life of their favourite cows. A calf at foot would also be considered.
Animals from High Health herds would be preferred but non-CHeCS animals would be considered as they have a separate isolation CPH for those animals not meeting their health standard.
A good calving history is essential!!
