Young handler of the year award winner 2023

Congratulations to 11 year old James Langlands who has won this year’s Frank Sutton Award for the best Young Handler.
James has been helping Dave Phillips of the Etheridge herd show his cattle this year and did his first young handlers class at the Royal Three Counties Show where he overcame his fears and stepped into the ring, being placed towards the end of the line. From that start he has grown in confidence and ability, so much so that he finished the season at Newbury show by winning his class and taking overall reserve champion.
