The 2008 event will follow the successful format developed over recent years and will include an extensive trade stand area, beef breed demonstrations, educational and advisory exhibits, practical demonstrations of livestock machinery, competitions and a comprehensive seminar programme.
Adopting the theme 'Engage with Beef - Sustainable Systems', the event will focus on finding ways of reducing production costs, improving efficiency ensuring high performance, sourcing the best genetics, maintaining healthy herds and maximising returns from the market.
On the day before Beef Expo, visitors will have the opportunity of viewing two prominent Perthshire beef farms followed by a pre-event conference and dinner.
The Longhorn Cattle Society will being exhibiting at this event, so please make sure to visit the stand if you are attending the event.
