Joint Production Sale from the Southfield, Blackbrook & Fishwick Herds RESCHEDULED DATE

Subject to Defra Regulations in force at the time the Joint Production Sale of 64 Pedigree Longhorn Cattle from the Southfield Herd, property of D. & A. Blockley, together with the Blackbrook Herd, property of J. W. & P. A. Stanley and the Fishwick Herd, property of J. Close & Son Ltd., has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday 7th October. Sale commences 12:00 noon.
There is to be a complimentary barbecue at Southfield Farm on the evening of Saturday 6th October for anyone wishing to come the night before the sale; when it will also be possible to preview the cattle. There are several travel lodge type hotels within 1 mile and a very efficient taxi service runs locally. Trailers and wagons may be parked overnight at Southfield Farm.

This Sale was originally to have taken place on Saturday 11th August and was rescheduled for Sunday 16th September however due to the confirmed case of Foot & Mouth Disease in Surrey on Wednesday 12.09.2007 had to be postponed for a second time.
Animals forward for the above rescheduled date will be as per the Sale Catalogue issued for 11th August and already circulated. It is also available to download by clicking where indicated above.
Members will receive confirmation in the post from McCartneys as soon as it can be confirmed that the sale will go ahead on the planned new date of Sunday 7th October.
The Vendors advise that if any purchaser is unable to move cattle purchased to their holding due to any movement restrictions being in force at the time of the sale then such animals may remain at Southfield Farm until such restrictions are lifted and the animals are permitted to move.
